This coin is part of the 2nd anniversary Geocoin Club contest. We had such a great time with the first anniversary contest, we've decided to do it again. About 15 coins will be sent to the far reaches of the known Geocoin Universe to a variety of countries and continents with the goal of starting a year-long journey of fun and discovery.
To enter the contest, upload a photo with your log! Photos, we have come to believe, are the "universal language" of geocoin logs and let's face it - a picture's worth 1000 words and who wants to write logs that long? So post your logs with all your great pictures.
THE PRIZE: Who knows??! But we again have $300 earmarked to spend on prize(s). It may be one lump sum if we like only one entry in particular or maybe 10 lucky folks will get a year premium GC.com membership. We're not sure how we'll dole out the prize money but ANYONE is eligible to win a slice so long as they upload a fun picture as an entry (not just GCC subscribers). We'll choose a winner and award a prize in August or September of 2008 and each time you log one of the 15 coins, you can use it as a chance to win.
WE ASK: Keep it moving! Keep snapping photos! We like photos with the coin featured in it best and we ask that you don't hog coins - take your pics, and then let someone else have a chance! :)
