Current Goal

Gas Pump 1 needs to return from the East Coast to the West Coast and find its way back to the "Gusher" cache, between Taft (93268) and Maricopa (93252), CA, just off Hwy 33 on Petroleum Club Road. It's partner, Gas Pump 2, is racing to do the same thing.

About This Item

This little gas pump was purchased at the West Kern Oil Museum located in Taft, CA. It is indicative of the main business activity in the area: oil production. On Saturday, March 19th, 2005, it flew to the East Coast and made its way to a cache in upstate New York. Its first journey is to make it back home to the oilfields from whence it came. Thanks for your help!

GAS PUMP 1 IS THE WINNER!!! IT MADE IT!!!! All of us were so concerned that it had disappeared when another person said "Finger Lickin' Good" had been muggled. GP1 was last seen a long 4 months ago!! Thanks to everyone for its incredible journey home from Bradley Park in Upstate New York! Now we all wait patiently for the arrival of Gas Pump 2 - currently in Southern California. THANKS EVERYONE!!!

Found this in "Gusher" and wanted to take it, but saw that was it's goal. Apparently the cacher who moved it to that cache, did not grab and drop it correctly. It's in Gusher now. (Where I found it.)
