Grab It (Not from a Cache) 8/26/2006 foleyjcat grabbed it   Visit Log

Found this TB in Big Spider (which was not where it was supposed to be). It needs some repair work as the plastic face on one side was completely separated from the medallion. I intend to meticulously bond it back in place with a touch of glue and get this fella back on the road again. This TB is supposed to be touring Canada (not Virginia) so I will be sending him north of here.

Wow! foleyjcat you're quick on the draw! We just found and placed this TB yesterday. We picked it up at Autumn Leaves in Conway State Park, but it wasn't logged into the site (although later, we discovered there was mention of a TB being placed in one of the logs).

We had an 8-year-old boy discover it and tried to talk him into taking it back and doing a little repair work before sending it on it's way, but he was too excited and really wanted to place it, so thanks for your TLC!!

Hope this "big fella" makes it back to Canada!

Best at you! - Mister Ree

Will try to keep this one moving north. Sorry for delay in reporting the grab but hubby went from Buggs Island vacation directly to hospital with serious but rare tick borne illness apparently acquired while geocaching in woods a couple of weeks ago. It's been a rough week but we'll get it moving north ASAP.

I have been to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Beautiful country! If this TB wants to see Canada, I don't know what it's doing in North Carolina. I'll try to move it northward soon.

I don't know about Canada, but this TB saw a lot of North Carolina by bike today. We logged 6.8 miles in the Shocco Creek Gamelands, North of Louisburg, NC. We found 4 out of 5 caches. Because the area isn't visited that often, I didn't leave the TB here.
