Current Goal

I would like to travel back to Sonoma California, just north of Healdsburg, CA to Ridge Vineyards, specifically the Lytton Springs Vineyard. I would appreciate some photos of me and other fine vintages I may meet along the way...please no Beringer, Yellow Tail, jug wine or box wine....EWWWWwwwww!

The Ridge on top of the fridge...wine fridge.

Corky is the cork to a fantastic bottle of Zinfadel enjoyed on March 24, 2005. Specifically he was popped out of a 2002 Ridge Lytton Springs Zinfadel.

Tasting Notes: Deep ruby in color, showing ripe plum fruit, spice, briar, Dry Creek earth. Notes of pepper, dried briar leaf, black and red licorice. Rich, lively, elegant. Chalky tannins. Fantastic length.

It would be cool if you also enjoyed some good wines and maybe leave some tasting notes as well.

Wine was purchased from D. Yannitelli Fine Wine and Spirits in Cold Spring, NY.

I should read these pages a little closer. I went after this cache today thinking there was a REAL bottle of wine in the cache.
Not really, but it would have been nice.
I did a have a glass of Yellowtail Shiraz the other day. My first Chiraz. It actually reminded me of a Zinfandel.
But alas, I was the only one in the room who actually liked it.
