Current Goal

This TB was released in honour of nephew Thom,
born on the 30th of June 2005, who will hopefully love travelling as much as we do when he grows up. This TB's first mission is to visit all continents in 5 years' time. Photos accompanying its travels will be greatly appreciated as we want to show Thom all kinds of exciting places in the world to go to when he grows up. A new mission will be picked on Thom's birthday in 2010, when this TB will hopefully have reached Europe, the continent where Thom was born.
We are starting this TB off in Canada, the country we have come to love and would like our nephew to visit first on his World Wide Tour somewhen.

Found This cute pussy in a cache by a lovely lake . . .
. .and had only been placed there the previous day.
However, we felt the need to take him to new places.

Cheers tanda.

If someone could get this to a cache near ChCh Airport by November, someone from the Antartic porgramme may be able to take it down there. I believe there is at least one Cacher involved in that outfit.

Welcome to New Zealand! I guess this island doesn't fall into any of the categories of continents on your list, but definately worth dropping in I think. It's a shame I didn't have you with me 2 weeks ago - I could've taken you to Norway with me! Will see if I can find a willing friend to carry you closer to your next continent 😁

  • Jerry in New Zealand Here's Jerry in Waipara, about 1 hour north of Christchurch in New Zealand, on a lovely spring day, just after he'd been for a ride over the Weka Pass in an old steam engine. Those are sheep and spring lambs in the background.

Thom TB will be heading back South after a nice warm stint in North Queensland.
I think he will have more opportunities for traveling over seas or visiting other parts of Australia if he is on the Gold Coast.

  • Overlooking the Pyramid, North Queensland Local Landmark called the Pyramid. Not built by the Egyptians but by Nature.
