Current Goal

My goal is to travel from cache to cache, recording the stories of "Purple Heart" geocachers -- those who have been even mildly hurt in the line of caching. All stories are accepted, but the funny ones are the best!

    My favorite hazard is when a I took a polar bear plunge in the icy Little Gunpowder River in January when we tried to build a log bridge to cross it. My buddy caught me and so I only went knee deep, but it was shockingly cold. Funny thing was, it was right around the time of the Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics at Sandy Point. Wish I could have raised some funds!!
