You can’t change the system and you know what you are doing is futile, but simple for the symbolism you do it anyway. Example: Even though the place is littered with trash you take the extra few steps to throw your trash in the receptacle So what are you symbolic acts of futility?
This geocoin was release in it’s real state, not a copy, not mark or marred to try to persuade those who would seal it for their private collection or just to prevent other from seeing and, might I say, enjoy it. Some say this is a futile act that it will just go missing - I prefer to think there is more good in the world and that this little coin will continue on it journey reminding us all to stand for our believes no mater how futile the act may believe.

Saw this coin today in Terror From Above. As for futile acts, I always reload the paper towel dispenser in the kitchen at work. I know whoever empties them will just leave the empty roll there, but I still fill them each time. Like my parents taught me.
