About This Item

crystal ball.jpg

This coin is in memory of my grandmother, Bessie, who lost her battle with cancer in January 1994. The cancer started in her lungs but by the time it was detected had spread throughout her body and into her brain.

My grandma was very outspoken and a straight-shooter, lol. She didn't hesitate to tell you what she thought but never did so in a hurtful way. She always had my love as well as my utmost respect. Be well, Grandma, and keep 'em in line! :-D

Please educate yourself and others about cancer. Know the
symptoms, see your doctor regularly, and know your options
should you or a loved one have to deal with the disease.

Brumbjorn attended the Yakkity Yak event, as did I (I'm waaaaay behind in logging finds), TBs and coins in hand. I'm not a coin hound, per se, but this beautifully artistic coin caught my eye. I've done a bit of scrying and reading o' the Tarot cards in my day, and have a bit of gypsy in my blood. Your memories of your grandmother are special. My recently departed grandmother was also outspoken and independent...I smile when my family tells me I'm a lot like her, even though that's not a good thing in their eyes. I count it as a blessing.

I'll move the coin along soon. Namaste'.
