I'm trying to get to California to see all the sites there. Can you help? If you find me in a cache please take me west to a cache closer to my goal. It was 88 degrees and very windy in Ventura today. Anacapa & Santa Cruz islands were clearly visible across the water. I'll keep Tara moving.

ScoutTheGoldenGeoRetriever and I took Tara on a tour of our little beach twon, Ventura-CA. One of the Ventura icons is the beautiful San Buenaventura Mission (founded 1782) - one of the 21 missions established along the coast of California by the Spanish missionaries. We have posted two photos - one of Tara in front of the mission and another by a fountain just across the street from the mission - with two famous old ad murals (Ghiradelli chocolate and Borax bleach) in the background.

Tara was a little out of her elements in the snow covered mountains of Big Bear Lake. This is a tropical fish - not a mountain lake trout! Picked her up and will drop her off among the palm trees and ocean vista of Ventura-CA.
