The Goose

Bevor das neue Jahr beginnt wurde heute nochmal das Handy aufgeräumt und diverse Zettel sortiert und dabei haben wir deinen TB Code entdeckt:) Leider können wir nicht mehr zuordnen ob wir dich in einem Cache gesehen haben oder doch bei einem Event, Mega oder Giga. Daher das Datum von heute. Danke dir fürs Zeigen, gute Reise, viele Kilometer und Tolle Bilder wünsche ich dir:) Grüße vom Niederrhein:)

Before the new year begins, the cell phone was cleaned up again and various pieces of paper sorted and we discovered your TB code :) Unfortunately we can no longer assign whether we saw you in a cache or at an event, mega or giga. Das neue Jahr ohne Altlasten zu beginnen ist mein diesjähriger Vorsatz gewesen. So habe ich nun alle Taschen geleert, Notizen und Zettelchen sortiert und auch die Handygalerie mal durchgesehen. Oh man, hätte ich mal nicht bis zum Ende des Jahres gewartet. Aber so kamen der ein oder andere TB Code zum Vorschein, so dass ich diesen nun gerne loggen möchte, um mit einer reinen Log Liste ins neue Jahr zu starten. Ich weiß leider nicht mehr, wo ich dich genau gesehen habe, sorry … vermutlich in einem Cache oder bei einem der raren Events dieses Jahr. Mir bleibt Danke zu sagen und einen guten Übergang ins neue Jahr zu wünschen. Bleibt gesund!

To start the new year without legacy has been my resolution this year. So I've now emptied all pockets, sorted notes and slips of paper and also looked through the cell phone gallery. Oh man, if I hadn't waited until the end of the year. But that's how one or the other TB code came to light, so that I would like to log it now to start the new year with a pure log list. Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly where I saw you, sorry ... probably in a cache or at one of the rare events this year. I have to say thank you and wish you a good transition into the new year. Stay healthy!

Wij zetten samen onze reis verder

More than 5 years ago I found this airplane at Juno Beach in Normandie ( Holyground for the second World War-fans). During years he travelled around in Europe, but did not found his home in Ulm.
Today I dropped him at Ieper ( Holyground for the First World War-fans ) in the cache, named ‘ In Flanders Field , which is a hommage to the famous Poem, written by John McCrae about the poppies, which is the symbol of the remembrance of all who died during this war.

I hope The Goose will spread the message of Peace through the hole world.

The Goose

Started his trip in cache “Napoleons Cachewalk” in Aachen on 23/04/2005.
10 years before I knew this wonderfull game Geocache.
Via Stuttgart and Frankfurt he landed in his 7th cache already in Tokio, Japan.
He stayed in Tokio from 12/08 until 27/08/2005 and took a flight to San Francisco.
On 17/09/2005 Budd-rdc took him to “THE Original Stash Tribute Plaque” where the Geocache all started.
One day later he visited British Columbia’s Oldest active cache.
From 27/1/2008 until 28/02/2008 it was 1Grnbayfan we took The Goose to his final destination Antartica.
Then he travelled in the US and Brasil, to Europe back to Argentina and again to Europe and in between to Thailand
On Christmas night 2014 we retretrieved him from JUNO Beach, Normandie - France( = stop 431 ) and brought him to Belgium.
We fell in love with The Goose and followed him on his trip through Europe.
More than 5 years later travelling throught a lot of countries in Europe he still hasn’t found his home in Ulm ( Germany ) and he ended again in our hands.
