After visiting it's destination: Antartica Finaly completed it's task and reached Hamburg. Thanks alot everybody! Now spare parts are rare and this little plane has been ordered to fly to Ulm/Germany
The Goose has fullfiled its first mission and made it to Antartica. I am pretty proud of this little explorer. The little plane should visit all the places which I probably never or only in a couple years will be able to visit.

Got this at the Rocklin event!
Here it is the day before our group's December event, and I opened up the ammo can that we keep the event logbook and stuff in, and what to my wondering eyes should appear, but six travel bugs, forgotten and lonely. Rather than risk a similar fate after tomorrow's event, I'll hold this guy and drop him in a cache soon.
Will put an information tag on and move soon. Thanks for bug number 1,446 we have seen.
We took The Goose to see some aviation sites in the SF Bay Area. Moffatt Field was a US Navy Base and my parents told me of watching the big lighter-than-air ships land there by Hanger 1 and I also remember watching the WWII navy fighters practicing overhead when I was a small boy. The Hiller Museum in San Carlos, California, displays many examples of California pioneers of flight. Hiller was an early builder of Heliocopters.
Grabbed the Goose to show it some sights in the SF Bay Area.
