The world belongs to it, or it to the world...or something...so its goal is to travel to all those places that we find through caching.
Has Geocaching brought you to any amazing, surprising places? I can't count the number of times my caching buddies and I have said to one another, "We never would have known about this place if not for this crazy game!" Truly, the world is our oyster as we stumble upon so many unique places with GPSr in hand. This traveler is dedicated to seeking out those places with you.
At first, this coin tracked my caching travels for the month of November, 2010. During that month, it put on 188.9 miles. Then, the coin languished for a while in my collection.
Now it has been set free in proxy form. The coin remains safe at home, but its virtual self can travel on, attached to a shell I found while caching.
