Geocachers are truly a friendly bunch, and you can't participate in this sport without meeting new people all the time. Whether at an event or on the trail, you will eventually come to know new friends who enjoy caching as much as you do. And over time, some of those people will become close friends. You share phone numbers to use when the Phone-A-Friend option is needed, you share ideas and stories, you go together on cache runs, and you might even find yourself visiting at their homes. But most of all, you make it a point to go and find their caches, and you really enjoy reading their logs when they find yours. So this coin will be used to dip in and out of our Geocaching Friends caches, thereby creating a virtual listing of those whom we've had the pleasure of being around and getting to know. After all, Texas is the Friendly state!
