Babcock Shaver

The H. H. Babcock Company respresented on this poreclain shaving mug was established at Watertown, New York in 1843 to manufacture buggies, phaeton, surreys and wagons. A glance at the company's guarantee in effect in 1902 gives an inkling of few of the hazards of ownings horse-drawn vehicles.
