I was whittled from the mountains of West Virginia. Please take me across this beautiful country and send a picture back home from time to time to show my family where I've been. After a long time, I would like to come back home to West Virginia.

Bear called Orse was created by a true West Virginia Mountaineer. He's blessed with a gift to bring life to a simple piece of wood. Hopefully, we will be blessed to see future creations by his hand. This is his first piece to join the Geocaching World. Safe travels Orse, and to those that travel along with you. =)

Orse is quite the hiker! He made it to the top of Big Baldy at 8,200 feet elevation. We had a lucky break in stormy weather in which to make this hike. The next day it snowed!

Orse visited Kaweah Lake in the foothills of the Sierra mountains. The lake is very low, making the dam quite visible.

Orse really felt at home here. Carvings, even of other bears! Though these were likely done mostly with a chain saw. Hope you enjoy seeing Orse and his California carved relatives!
