Der Grosskopferte möchte gerne Sportveranstaltungen besuchen. Es ist dabei egal, wie groß die Veranstaltung ist und um welche Sportart es sich handelt, wobei ihm aber Motorsport und Fußball am liebsten wären. Macht bitte (wenn möglich) ein Foto – Danke.

Well, this Schumi had a better weekend than the real one did in Turkey I'm afraid. This one went with me to Concorso Italiano in Monterey, California. It is the largest gathering of Ferraris (575!) in the world, the largest gathering of Lamborghinis in North America (110!), not to mention Alfa Romeo, Masserati, and others. I go every year now. MS stayed in the trunk of the Ferrari 308 GTS we drove there in, and I forgot to bring him out for any of the pics but oh well.

I brought MS with me on a very long day of caching in Sacramento (18 hour day and 73 finds, after 4 hours sleep) but didn't leave him there as I just had to bring the Ferrari driver to Concorso Italiano the next day. It's the largest gathering of Ferraris in the world (575 Ferraris alone last year!) and there are plenty of other Italian and other cool cars.

Tag, Schumi! I saw this bug at the event exchange and had to grab it as I'm a huge Formula 1 fan and I recognized Michael here as soon as I saw him. Perhaps he'd like to defect from Ferrari and take my BMW M3 for a spin? 😉 I'll try to get some pics with him and move him along soon. Too bad I didn't have this bug two weeks ago when I spent three days at the inagural San Jose Grand Prix (Champ Car series.)
No F1 championship for MS this year I'm afraid but it's been a fun season to watch, excepting the USGP of course. 😟
