About This Item

Syracuse Picnic '02

This bug is a patch we had made up for the Syracuse Geocaching Picnic on August 3rd, 2002 held at Clark Reservation State Park in Jamesville, NY - just south of Syracuse, NY.

We would like to see it travel to lots of other event caches wherever they may be.

This bug doesn't need to go directly from event to event, it just likes to get to them whenever possible. Feel free to place it in other caches along the way!

Red and I found the Bug in the Bluebird Angel Cache so we are going to give it a lift to Letchworth. as we are from San Diego Calif. we thought it would be fun to bring it to the Picnic . Larry RedNLarry

Loved the get together (it's so nice to put faces to the names we see in all the log books!!) This TB was to be given to the team closest to a set of coordinates, but when Dekaner measured it off, all those closest had already packed up and headed out....our team had the honor of being farthest away (didn't want to show off you know!! lol!) and I requested the bug...he was kind enough to give it to us with a laugh and a handshake! We'll try to make the October picnic, but we'll drop this patch off somewhere in the meantime so others can enjoy him (and pass on the responsibility of getting him to Letchworth!) Thanks Dekaner!!
