Echter Bembel und TB Bembel

The traditional Frankfurt Äppler (apple wine, very different from french cidre!) is usually served in jugs like this (but bigger ones are preferred). The jugs are made in the Westerwald and are called Bembel. The pretzels are one common companion to the Äppler. -------------------------------------------------------------------------Der traditionelle Frankfurter Ebbelwoi oder Äppler (der sehr anders ist als der französische Cidre!) wird normalerweise in solchen Krügen serviert (vorzugsweise in größeren solchen). Diese werden im Westerwald getöpfert und heißen Bembel. Das Laugengebäck ißt man gern dazu.
