About This Item

The coin

This set of five geocoins is a follow-up to a set of four that depicted the time zones of the continental United States. This new set shows Canada, Alaska and Hawaii; all five fit together, just as the earlier set did. All nine geocoins were done to the same scale, so check out the photos of this entire set, as well as all nine geocoins: pretty nifty :-D

This was dropped off a decade ago, into a cache in the wilds of Florida. Based upon some of the logs posted thereafter, it would not surprise us if the cache container is still out there, buried under pine needles. Unfortunately, we live all the way across the continent, and so have no real likelihood of digging it up ourselves. So we are retrieving this and will "bury" it in an archived cache close to home. Happened upon the listing for this trackable because it had previously been in a puzzle cache I'm trying to solve in Virginia.

Alas, looks like the cache this and Little Poppy were in went missing about ten years ago :( Might want to mark this TB as missing too.

RIP Little Poppy - you didn't get to travel nearly enough :(
