Current Goal

THIS CONTEST IS OVER - NOW WE ARE TAKING THESE TRACKABLES TO GEO-EVENTS SO THEY CAN BE DISCOVERED.

This coin was part of a geocoin icon hunter's contest and was dropped in PASCO COUNTY in Florida. Please read the following for more details.

About This Item

Black/Brown/Orange

We have dropped 10 different colored Cacher Tag Geocoins throughout the Tampa Bay Area and we challenge you to find all ten of them. The four counties these coins have been dropped in surround the Tampa Bay Area (Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco & Pinellas) and the coins are intended to remain within the county they have been originally dropped in.

This is the card that was placed in the coin jacket.

Coin Insert Sheet

Simply find all of the ten coins, moving each coin to a new cache within the same county it was originally located in, then post a picture on that coin's log page of yourself with the coin and the cache container that you moved it into, then go for the rest of them. Discoveries and grabs will not merit you credit for this contest. Coin must hang out for at least one day in the cache before you pick it up (no dipping, swaps or hand-offs, please). One cache-move per day, one find per day. After it has been in the cache for a day, pick it up and move it to a new one within the county it needs to stay in! Owners reserve the right to request further photographic proof of seeker having actually moved the coin, if need be. Contest officially ends October 31st, 2008 but may end earlier if all 10 coins do not remain in circulation within their respective counties (please carefully consider the security of your hiding locations).

When you have posted your pictures on all 10 of our Cacher Tags weblog pages, send us a message via our profile telling us how we can deliver an unregistered geocoin to you. We can mail it to you, meet somewhere and hand it off, hand deliver it at the next geo-meeting in the area or drop it in a cache near you and send an email to let you know it is waiting for you. The choice is yours.

Hope everybody enjoys our little contest and the coins stay in circulation for a while, because once the first coin disappears, this contest is (obviously) over...
