Current Goal

It's cold here in Indiana, and team Indiana Johnson would like to live vicariously through the travels of our geocoin. Ideally, we'd like to have our geocoin visit Siesta Key in Florida; but a roadtrip to Purdue is great in any season! :)

About This Item

This is our first geocoin. We purchased it at the Jefferson Blvd. Caching Spree on 11/10/07, drove it to South Bend, Indiana, and are planning on placing it this weekend somewhere in the South Bend area.

    We have taken this neat coin to visit a little beaver dam here on Vancouver Island, on the west coast of British Columbia. We have 'washed' it in the waters of the Pacific Ocean. We will move it along soon, thanks for sharing.

    A visit was in order to see the slice of this fantastic tree. The tree grew near our beautiful city of Port Alberni on Vancouver Island. This tree started to grow in 1456 (before Columbus discovered America) and reached a height of 238 feet and was 501 years old when it was cut.
