The Special Forces Operational Detachment-A, or A-Team, is the fundamental building block for all Special Forces Groups. There are six “A” detachments in each Special Forces company.
A captain leads the 12-man team. Second in command is a warrant officer. Two noncommissioned officers, or NCOs, trained in each of the five SF functional areas: weapons, engineer, medical, communications, and operations and intelligence comprise the remainder of the team. All team members are SF qualified and cross-trained in different skills, as well as being multi-lingual.
This TB is the SF Junior Demolition Sergeant:
This TB is being released along with the other 11 members of his Special Forces “A” Team at The Airborne Event. This TB as well as his TEAM has a VERY SPECIAL MISSION. If you pick up this TB you MUST follow the directions EXACTLY in order for this TB to be able to complete his MISSION.
The 12 man TEAM will be leaving The Airborne Event on 21 May 2005. They will all leave in different directions as to not attract attention. They will all travel with the help of the locals known in these parts as “Cachers”. Each member of this team must go to two locations and gather intelligence and report back. After each member of the “A” Team accomplishes the first part of his mission the will all attempt to link up at Airborne HALO PASS GCJ4GR . Once all Team members are recovered they will refit and rearm for future operations.
This Special Forces “A” Team must remain within the borders of “Pine Land” (North Carolina) They will be severely punished for crossing the border.
The first location THIS TB must recon is Hawk 11 GC219E
The second location location this TB must recon is
85 and Over GCNQJT
After completing the recon of these two areas proceed to Airborne HALO PASS GCJ4GR and await further instructions.

Took this TB from the Norfolk Airport Bug Portal today, and I will move him westward, either to Texas next week or to Charlottesville the next week. He looks like he needs some R & R.

Found this poor soldier apparently AWOL in the wilds of Virginia. No need to mete out additional punishment though - he's obviously already paid for his deriliction. Escorting him over to a TB hotel near the Norfolk Airport where he can hopefully meet some MPs to transfer him back to "Pine Land" and some medical treatment.
