    EDIT: I had pictures of the coin at Belgrade train station and at the cache - but unfortunately my phone with the pictures was stolen. I see that the next cacher has taken some pictures, that's great 🙂 .

    • Kalemegdan Fortress in Belgrade Very old historic site.
    • Sava river meets the Danube This location has been inhabited for tens of thousands of years. Skulls of Neanderthals and Stone Age humans have been found here. Greeks and Celts have built settlements at the location of the current fortress, and the Romans built their city Singidunum and the first fortress at this place. The fortress and the city have been occupied by multiple different forces in the course of the centuries, including the Byzantines, the Turks, and the Austrians.

    Coin has come to Berlin with me, and then made a 19 hour train trip through Prague, Bratislava and Budapest to Belgrade where it is now sitting in a cache attached to an old locomotive placed in front of National Serbian Railway Museum 😎
