Hampton in Arden
The Manor was given to Robert Dudley by Queen Elizabeth I
It was a home to a Prime Minister and founder of the modern police force – very apPEELing,
Next off to see our Hives and to see if the bees were beehiving themselves, one bee popped out to see what was happening.
Hatton Station
On the railway line Warwick and Birmingham, once a GWR station it is where a line branches off to Stratford upon Avon. The way the tracks are laid out it forms a triangle. On Friday, the steam engine Tornado will use the triangle to turn on its trip to Stratford.
Then off to Hatton Country World for a coffee. We like café caching. From there we had a nod at Haseley Knob but your TB wanted to go to places of interest.
Then off to Hockley Heath. It has had a separate identity since the 13th century and is on the Stratford-upon-Avon canal and is one of the first local villages to be on the penny post system. Mr D’s Dad went to school in Hockley Heath. Your TB was put in a cache between Packwood House and Baddseley Clinton
