The Police are in a 'marked' BMW 5 Series (TB20YQK)
Check out where they are and help the Robbers escape from them.
In the late 50’s and early 60’successful businessmen drove the Jaguar Mk2s but strangely it also became the mark of the successful villain. It was also targeted by car thieves, once stolen they would be used as getaway cars for Jewellery smash and grab and bank robberies. No car epitomised this good-gone-bad attitude than the Mk2, the getaway car of choice. It became so popular with the criminal fraternity that the police had no choice but to get Mk2s of their own and to give themselves an edge, they modified the engines. The Jaguar S-Type (which was a US Lincoln underneath) was a 90s interpretation of the iconic Mk2. The S-type was launched at the 1998 International Motor Show at the National Exhibition Centre and went on sale in early 1999, quickly becoming the best-selling Jaguar, with production of over 50,000 cars per year from the Jaguar factory at Castle Bromwich.
The Police have used many patrol cars since the days of the Jaguar Mk2. Fords, Vauxhalls and Rovers being the mainstay for many Forces for many years. In the last decade or so Volvos, Mercedes and BMW have found favour. One of the current favourites is the diesel BMW5 Series (E60 is the BMW title) available in both saloon and touring (E61) platforms.
