About This Item

Ground Grabber II.jpg

Have you ever looked at the ground you step? No, not just that look to make sure that you won’t be wrong footed, that you won’t slip in anything, kick something or fall through whatever kind of hole one may find at your town. I mean, have you ever taken a good, deep look at the ground you step on everyday?

That’s what Ground Grabber it’s all about. This TB is a contestant in a worldwide race that aims to get the ‘Portuguese sidewalk art’ known all over the world. But then, why stop at the Portuguese typical sidewalk?. Or those that aren’t even sidewalks! To log the Ground Grabber, please take a photo (‘grab’ it) of the ground you usually step on, and put on your log (just a quick note: the name of the file should indicate street, place and country of photo).

TB Race information:

This Travel Bug is a participant in a Race!! - The Travel Bug with the largest distance traveled between June 10th, 2005 and June 10th 2006 will win the race.

The race is run under the subject "Calçada Portuguesa", which is a type of decorative pavement from Portugal we hope to divulge.

Carry me as far as possible and find out more about the race at: http://travelbugrace.geocaching-pt.net/
