Das Inselmaskottchen von La Palma, die "Enanos" tanzten erstmals 1833 als eine Art Persiflage auf Napoleon bei den Festakten zu Fronleichnam. Heute ist die "Danza de Enanos" die größte Attraktion der alle fünf Jahre stattfindenden Bajada. Die nächste Bajada de la Virgen findet 2015 statt.
