Current Goal

I have been on the same bus route for many a year picking up and dropping off passengers. I pass the same things day in and day out, but I dream of far off lands.
I want to travel & meet my bus buddies. If you hitch a ride with me please take a photograph with other buses, bus stops or even bus depots along the way. And I just love to feel the sun shining on my top deck. So the sunnier and warmer climate the better.

Had every intention on taking you to Seattle but I don’t travel that way much anymore. So I’ve left you in a beautiful location, in a park frequented by geocachers. Perhaps one of them can help you along your journey.
Here is a picture of my favorite bus stop just outside of Point Defiance Park. Pierce Transit buses 10 and 11 bring many a commuter or ferry enthusiast here to catch a Washington State Ferry over to Vashon Island.

Pierce Transit is the local authority who maintains the parking garages for Tacoma Dome Station which serves:
Pierce Transit, Sound Transit Express, and Greyhound buses.
Sound Transit Link light rail (which relates to this cache).
Sound Transit Sounder train, which I used to commute daily pre-COVID19.
Coming soon ... Amtrak trains as well.

Finally home! Wanted to grab a cache to mark the TB’s arrival in Tacoma. From this park you can see the Tacoma Dome (image attached).
Now that my summer travels are over, a self imposed quarantine will follow. After that I can’t wait to take Bartiebob on a bus ride to Seattle, our trip will start at Tacoma Dome Station.
