Welcome to Baudette! You are now in the northern most county in the lower 48 United States (Lake of the Woods County) There aren't many people here, only 3.5 per mile on average, and not one stoplight in the entire county! A lot of it is water though. If you look a map of Minnesota the county is pretty much where the little bump in the northern part of the state is. From here we're going back south on our tour towards the town of Park Rapids!

Welcome back to the US! You're back in Minnesota, in a state park that sits right on the border with Canada. From here we're headed a little bit farther west to the town of Baudette, where every winter they celebrate "Hockey Day in Minnesota" by playing a high school hockey game on the frozen water of Baudette Bay. Last year's game was played in about -10 degrees (f) but the sun was out, so in Minnesota that's good enough for a game to go on!
