Geochelone = a genus of tortoises (one of many); Asphaltus = of the road kind. This rare tortoise wants to travel the world. Please move him along to another geocache!
#2 travel bug for our family, our first was a nice big Hawaiian cowrie shell that we wanted others to have a chance to see and hold. This is another very rare shell, we thought others might get a kick out of it. A member of a species known to inhabit the edges of highways, this little guy has decided to break loose from it's usual sedentary lifestyle, and go travelling instead. Please help him move along!
