I started my travels by entering the GONIL 2008 Travel Bug Race. The race is over and I finished in 31st place but please keep me moving. I want to be one really fast snail.
Galloping Gastropod is started his travels by attending the GONIL 2008 picnic and entering the GONIL 2008 Travel Bug Race. This snail was out to prove that in spite of the slow reputation attributed to his kin, with a little help he can get around fast and go farther than anybody. All he needed to do to win was travel many, many, many miles before September 1, 2009 but he proceeded at snails pace. However, a big jump to Texas in the last month of the race moved him from 45th place (4th from last) to a finish in 31st place. So maybe he can yet become a speedy snail. Please help him along.
