Current Goal

I’d like to stay in caches close by water so I can practice my paddling skills (river, ocean, whatever, as long as it’s wet!). I also must insist that I only travel by car or boat (no planes! I can’t bring my kayak on board you know). I’d also love to see some pictures of the places and people I meet along the way.

Bender Joe TB

Kayak Joe is a bendable magnetic figurine purchased from the Sacramento REI store in May 2005. He represents my aspirations to do more kayaking in the coming years. One day I'd even like to try to paddle from Monterey, CA to Hawaii (Not likely but I can dream can't I?). I am releasing him in Connecticut (my home for 4 years). Please don't bend Kayak Joe too quickly as he can be broken this way. When placing him back in a cache please put him back in his Kayak with all his gear and make sure his top hatch is sealed tightly. Please treat him with care so he can complete his mission successfully and in one piece. Paddle on!

At the beginning of the year, it's time to clean up the picture folder on my cell phone and finally log all the TBs and coins that I came across on my cache tours or while researching online. A number of photos have accumulated over the last few months. Whether seen in log entries, discovered at events or in collections, found stuck in cache containers or photographed on cache mobiles. Discovered this cute bug in the Kiddie Cache on Carolina Beach. Not sure of it's goal to meet up with it's buddy so we admired him and left him for someone else to grab.
