This Travel Bug is in a race!!! It started in Pittsburgh PA and needs to get to 2 checkpoints prior to returning to the finish line. Please be sure to log it and please drop it in another cache quickly, preferably in the direction of one of the checkpoints in SC, CA or back to PA if the others have already been visited!!! Back: (2 small checkboxes are also present) Southeastern checkpoint: visit one of the following caches in SC and check the box when completed!! - GCQFFQ (Darlington) - GCYTXD (Florence off 95) - GC142HK (Florence off 20) Western checkpoint: visit one of the following caches in CA and check the box when completed!! - GC11W3M (SF Bay area off 680) - GCN3CP (SF Bay area near 580&84) - GCNNP8 (near Oakland airport) Finishline cache: GCZVY5 (Pittsburgh, PA)

About This Item

This is an old matchbox car, so PLEASE do not keep it. THis bug is in a race, but it also want's to outrace Red's Ferrari F40 and speed past every other racer.

    After 6 months of racing the Rocket Car is one of 2 bugs to make it to a checkpoint out of 23 racers!! This car has accumulated 541.8 miles and has visited 8 caches in 4 states (Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia and South Carolina) and has met 8 cachers along the way. Unfortunately though, it appears that the car itself is missing...but hey, the tag and race info tag are still moving! Keep on racing little tag!!

    Stumble on this one by chance. I only have time to hit a few caches on our trip from Roswell, NM to Raleigh. I will be able to get this one most of the way to California on our way back!!
