Current Goal

This Space Shuttle needs some holiday and wants to travel to Cape Canaveral to check in at the "Port Canaveral TB & Coin Resort" (GC141JC).

Although there are no future space missions planned, it sure is a good place to learn about the history of men travelling to the stars.

Wish I was headed to Florida but this cache this is going in is really cute and the co put a lot of effort into it. Since the cache's CO's name is Space Corps, feel this is in keeping with the theme.

Don't remember which cache we picked this one from during the days after coinfest. I was at coinfest too so will just retrieve from there. From Florida myself and have family members who were part of the mission at the Cape. Wish I was taking a trip back to Florida soon....

We see this shuttle wants to get to Cape Canaveral. Not going that far east, but in October we are heading to CoinFest at Houston Space Center and we'll be taking this guy to Mission Control to enjoy the area. The attached picture shows patches for some of the past Shuttle flights. Safe travels!
