Snee Snurtle

While vacationing in Hawaii...
After one to many Mai Tai's, Sharon[a member of the family] came back to the condos saying that she saw a "Snee Snurtle".
We are heading back to Kauai in Feb 09 So if he can hang around and visit the islands for a year and then head over to Kauai that would be nice.
I would like to see him & Mcbear again

The Tulameen Turtles are very sympathetic to the cause of TBs and made a special trip to our house to make sure Snee Snurtle and McBear Made the trip together. We'll take them to Maui. Perhaps a trip around the islands is in order for these two.

Snee has been handed off for his trip to Hawaii - and Jordy is in Snee Withdrawl and missing the snurtle - he did get a goodbye shot and was a bit tearful so Kris took Jordy for a hot chocolate to take away his sorrow.. :)

He knows Snee will be safe and sound - as he's going with his older brother McBear on the plane, and McBear will keep him in comfort til he can be brought home by mom and dad and big sister..

  • Snee's buddies say goodbye Knowing their time was coming to an End - they took a moment to say goodbye and share one last shot with Snee.. before he left them to start his big Swim to Hawaii!

Well Jordy is off to a resounding start with Snee Snurtle.. lol be sure to read the captions of the pictures as we get them uploaded over the next few days.. lol

He was with us for all 19 Cache's this weekend and will be for a few more - so if you want to know all his sights be sure to check the gallery - he may be in a few that aren't posted here.. :)

  • Snee Snurtle sells Snee Snells by the Snee Snore.. He couldn't resist - sad thing is - this isn't after one too many mai tai's just us.. lol
  • Longing for.. Snee Snurtle Island At the top of Sharpe's View in Anacortes.. Snee Snurtle longs to claim - I"m free - but alas we kept him on a short leash so he wouldn't jump
  • Snee Schnool Snee is young and longs for Edumacation in the ways of his fellow well schooled TB's so we showed him the Jewell of a School in Anacortes - and he soaked up all that his little shell could!
  • The memorial - Snee stopped and comtemplated some deeper thought at the top of Mt. Erie - realizing that no matter how much he wants a cache if he isn't prepared or conditions are right - safety comes first.

Well our first cache of a caching weekend...

  1. We are the Tulameen Turtles

  3. Snee Snurtle TB was in there.. lol

Jordy thinks of this as winning the caching lottery.. :) he is very happy to welcome Snee Snurtle to the Tulameen Turtles personally escorted Travel Bug Tours.. first Snee will be touring Anacortes, and visiting the release grounds of our own Anaco Turtle TB, while enjoying hot chocolate a delicous Cinamon Roll and overlooking one of the view points - Cap Sante look out.

Then he will continue with our other TB's and explore the creativity of the Fidalgo Island Cachers..
