This Travel Bug needs to move throughout the world trading SWAPS as it goes. If you are or have ever been a Girl Scout or Girl Guide, please swap with me. If you can, please upload a picture of your SWAP and a short description of how to make it. Add your city, state, territory, province, and country to the back of the SWAP. If you are not a Girl Scout or Guide you are still welcome to participate.
Swaps, the tradition of Girl Scouts exchanging keepsakes, started long ago when Girl Scouts and Girl Guides first gathered for fun, song, and making new friends.
Originally, swaps were exchanged at national Girl Scout Senior Roundups and referred to as "Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere."
Swaps are still the perfect way for Girl Scouts to meet each other and promote friendship. Each one is a memory of a special event or Girl Scout Sister.

Grabbed to share with my daughter, a jr brownie (can you tell I have no idea what the ranks are in Girl Scouts?) There are no SWAPs in the bag ATM. Not sure if my wife has a SWAP small enough for it but we will see what they can come up with. Thanks for sharing.

Rescued your bug from the cache. It had gotten very wet and rusted a little bit. I cleaned it up the best I could but the contents were pretty much ruined. I dried it out and will send it on it's way.

sorry, I didn't have a picture of the TB I exchanged. I was a brownie and girl scout long ago when I lived in Overland Park, KS. I now live in Arizona, but come here often to visit my Mom. I'll be taking your TB with me when I return to Arizona on June 14 and will place it in a cache right away.
