Current Goal

In honor of my "roots" and where I met my husband, we'd like to travel to as many tulipfields (or flower fields) as possible around the world! It would be nice if you posted a picture of the places we've been.

    I found this TB in the "Red Rock Travel Bug Resort (GCVZDC)" in Red Rock Canyon, outside of Las Vegas, NV. It looks like it has not had any activity since December 2010, so I will get this one back on track. I will do a drop/retrieve in the Red Rock cache so that it can get some more kilometers on the record.

    Cute TB, although the laminated paper attached is illegible now. If the owner cares to contact me with the info, I'd be glad to make up a new one to attach. Will move along during my next excursion, although I don't think I'll be finding any flowers during the Pennsylvania winter!

    Flower sightings can be pretty pitiful outside the florist shops in November in PA. But I did keep an eyeout and camera at the ready as we traveled from cache to cache. See photos.

    Found "Tiptoe" somehow tiptoed up a mountain to the cache Godzilla, (in Luzerne county in PA) quite a hike. Now we did see a Michaelmas Daisy in bloom on the way up the mountain--sorry I didn't take a picture. Just noted it and thought of the oddity of seeing a flower in bloom this late in season after a number of frosts.
