Current Goal

This travel bug started out at Yahoo Falls - Kentucky at a geocache along the sheltowee Trace. It then went along on a major hiking trip with Moonsovrbend and Peg5 northward along the Sheltowee Trace Jumping from Geocache to geocache back and forth from Peg5 to Moonsovrbend. When it reaches the end of the Sheltowee Trace Geocache Adventure at Exit - 49 on Interstate Highway 75 - we will release it to the geocaching community!

Let it travel as freely as it did on its hiking trip!

On April 23 the Fish has moved through sixteen geocaches all along the sheltowee trace and covered 78 miles on foot with Peg5 and Moonsovrbend. We are releaseing it to the geocaching community at TRS Exit-49 Geocache and we wish it well. Exit 49 is ON the Sheltowee Trace - but this is as far as we are going to hike the trail northward.

Please see to it that it visits geocaches along other important hiking trails.

Maybe one day it will come back to the Sheltowee Trace.

I am not sure why this TB was locked, but it is no longer in the cache that it is listed as being in, so I am marking it to an unknown location. If the owner feels this TB was locked in error, please write to contact@geocaching.com. If it is unlocked, getting it back into play is as easy as logging it, if you can figure out where it is, quite a bit of time has gone by since this was last moved.

After examining a bunch of TB's in the cache hotel this one had special meaning. Happy Hiker and I both backpack as often as we can work in some crazy schedules. Knowing where this one has been lets us know it has real "trail miles". Will find a place to put this one that you may have to hike a mile or two to catch, after all it is a keeper. 😁😁

This bug has gone alot further on the Sheltowee than I have. I have done the first 12 miles a couple of times starting in Tennessee.
