Depending on the direction the wind comes from, it gets different names in Catalonia. The main ones are: Tramuntana–North / Llevant–East / Migjorn–South / Ponent–West. PONENT: Despite of coming from the Atlantic Ocean, it’s a warm and dry wind after crossing the entire peninsula iberica.
