This Travel Bug is in memory of coolslaw56 who passed away earlier this year. We actually never met him, but he was the owner of the first cache our family ever found. Steve was highly regarded as a local minister as well as an avid cacher. We heard about his death even before we started caching. Coolslaw's caches (at least the ones we've found) have a bit of interesting history or trivia associated with them. Our family has joined with the local caching community to maintain his caches in his honor. According to Coolslaw's profile (link above), one of his other hobbies was restoring old VWs - hence, this is a travel "bug" in more than one sense. Thanks for participating in honoring a former cacher and God bless.
