Current Goal

>>> >>> >>> >>> Till, our two and a half year old grandson is fond of playing with toy animals. On his behalf we would like to send this Dino on a journey, and hopefully she will come to a halt on plenty of stations arround the world. Some jears later, when she returns home, grandfather will tell him, with logbook in hand and finger pointing at a globe, the long long story of his tiny Dinosaur.

A "quick" morning stroll on what would turn out the hottest day in Cape Town (here 39°) - past the V-notch our drink/spring water supply, to show Dino some practical stuff about living in a dry country - got us up to Space Harley Cache to drop Dino.

  • Dino at the V-Notch A v-notch is a water flow measure device. With a ruler one takes the hight in the V and compares that with a list to estabish the litres flowing through per second. that day it showed 38mm which is VERY low but also end of summer (the dry season) it equals to 0.4l/s or 1.44m3 /h
