We retrieved Jackie from "Return of the Son of the Beach" in Olympia, WA which is located at the southernmost point of Puget Sound. From the cache you can see the snow covered Olympic Mountains to the North, the Olympia Marina area, the ships in the Port of Olympia, and the State Capitol Building to the south. Jackie enjoyed our leisurely walk back up the beach and then up the path through the wooded trails of Priest Point Park to our truck. She saw beautiful early-spring, white, 3-petalled Trilliums in the forest undergrowth along with unfurling fronds of sword fern, and even some licorice ferns growing out of the moss climbing up some of the alder trees we passed on the trail. Hopefully Jackie will see even more of our beautiful Pacific Northwest as she continues her travels! Happy Trails Jackie!
