Alma Mater, please come home! This is my first travel bug, so I'm trying something relatively short (I think) and simple. I'm hoping it will eventually return to MSP Bugport cache at N 44 52.127, W 93 10.391.
This is a key ring from my Alma Mater, Carleton College in Northfield, MN.
I'd like to say thank you to everybody who helped get this home! This was my first travel bug, and it was interesting to watch it meander across the country, eventually turning up again in my own back yard!
Came to pick up the Alma Mater travel bug, which I launched two years ago! It was exciting to see it again. Also picked up some trinkets (plastic dinosaur, one other item I don't remember) and put in two beaded bracelets and an origami octagon.
Taking it to minnesota like the piece of paper said.
WE HAVE THIS BUG!!! SO sorry we've had it for quite awhile but it was lost. We took it from a cache in November placed by Blue Grass Tom (Ground Squirrel Condo) and never saw it again...until today. It also has never been dropped by BGT into that cache so we had no idea what its name was or who owned it. We knew we had a bug but didn't know the number. We searched 2 whole households & 2 vehicles high & low. Tonight we were getting ready for a weekend caching trip in NW Iowa & found it buried in a dark corner of our backpack. I know we looked there before but oh well...it's found now & we will move it along this weekend. Again: we're so sorry we've had it & haven't logged it!
Picked up this morning just west of Iowa City, IA.
About as far east as I went, now back to Iowa.
