Big Ol' Memphis Coin

This commemorative coin is an extra from a batch that the company I work for used to give out to business partners to celebrate new business relationships. Of course, it wasn't originally trackable, but a travel slug and a generous application of 2-part epoxy took care of that little problem.

The coin's imagery contains: B.B. King's Blues Club, the Orpheum Theater, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, FedEx, Morgan-Keegan Tower, The Peabody hotel, Memphis International Airport, Baptist Memorial Hospital, W.C. Handy, University of Tennessee Medical School, Cotton, Main Street Trolley, Elvis, the Sanitation Workers' Strike of 1968, Paddlewheel River Boats, the Memphis Zoo, several old churches and the Pyramid Arena. I'm sure I missed something, but that's most of the items.

This one was really nice, lots of nice details as well. My son was thrilled, and wanted to keep it. Big NO for that. 🤭
