Current Goal

Someone left the cage doors open, and now all the animals have escaped :-O The zookeeper and his assistants are out looking for all the escapees. Help the animals avoid getting captured and locked back up; keep them moving!

About This Item

Each of the animals in the Geo-Zoo has an identical ID tag. There are many animals that got out of the zoo, and each is in hiding in a different place. If you find one, keep it moving! Don't let the keeper catch it!

Because there are many animals with the same number, but only one of them will actually appear on a cache-page, it is very likely that you will find one "by accident". That's OK; just pick it up and carry it along to another cache. When you are ready to put it into a cache, claim the Bug from wherever it happens to be, and then put it into its new hiding spot. If you want to mention which particular animal it is in the log, that's OK. And please post any photos you take of the animals. But NEVER show the ID tag number in a photo, or mention it in a log! Doing so will only make it easier for the zoo staff to find the missing animals. Thank you!

    Ha, 3 years later and not all the animals have been captured.

    Elderly friend took this many years ago and passed it on to me as they clean out their house. They seem to have collected a number of TB's for the last ~17 years and didn't quite know what to do with them.

    I've got the Giraffe now. I'll find a cache for him to put a few more miles on this one before it ends. Unless the owner would like me to mail it back for old times sake.
