In October of 2008, we dropped this travel coin in a cache in San Luis Obispo, California. It traveled around California and Arizona until July of 2009 and then made its way to the Czech Republic, then Spain, and Germany. In July of 2011, it returned to the United States, and visited Pennsylvania, Oregon, Florida, New Jersey and finally, after more than 20,000 miles, it landed in La Porte, Indiana.

We are in Plainfield, Illinois, and when we saw our little coin was less than two hours away, we absolutely had to go get it. We have it safe and sound with us, where it will be retired now that it is back home.

We've had several travel bugs just "go missing" and one travel bug washed away in a flood so we feel very fortunate to be reunited with this one.

Thank you to all the geocachers who helped it on its journey!

I found this geocoin today. I'm in the Trenton area working this week from Indianapolis. Grabbed a few caches and found this coin. I will move along and replace soon. More then likely in the Indiana somewhere.
