Current Goal

My goal is to fly high (that is, visit caches that are placed at high elevations) and far. Please try to place me in caches that are 1000 feet elevation or higher. If I could visit Eagles Beach cache in Alaska, it would be nice, because I here they have good salmon up there.

About This Item

I am the High Flying Bald Eagle and I like to roost high above the cities and keep a watchful eye. This is a Republic of Liberia coin which has the image of an American Bald Eagle on the front. The coin was minted in the year 2000 and the eagle has been colorized for dramatic effect.

The High-Flying Blad Eagle is taking flight.

We're off to visit the highest points in a few Southern states. For flying high and far, we'll at least cover the far since the peaks aren't so high out there.

Had I gotten this a couple months ago, I could have left it atop Mt. Whitney! Even last month I was at Guadalupe Peak (highest point in Texas). Oh well, it'll still be an adventure for ol' Baldy.
