I brought Hungry Hippo with me on a maintenance check of one of my own water-related caches, Los Pesqueros (The Fishermen). Even though my cache is in a camo painted ammo can and is well hidden, I decided not to place Hungry Hippo in it due to the number of beer bottles in the area. With the brush getting thinned out due to the onset of winter, it might become easier for the cache to get discovered by a non-cacher, and I don't want to be responsible for this bug ending up MIA. 15T

Hungry Hippo followed me to a few caches today, and this is the second one that's water related, right on the banks of the Mississippi River. Hungry Hippo decided to stay with me for a while longer, and will probably be exchanged at the Geocachers Exploring Minnesota Halloween Hoopla Event Cache next weekend, which is also near the Mississippi River. 15T

Hungry Hippo followed me to a few caches today, and this one happens to be water-related (it's right next to Rice Creek, and the vicinity of the cache is a good spot to sit and rest and watch the water flow). 15T

I found the Hungry Hippo near the confluence of the Minnesota and Mississippi rivers in a new cache I was the first finder for. Here in Minnesota, the land of 10,000 lakes, I'm sure I can find a water related cache to stash this bug. 15T
