Current Goal

It seams that this particular travel bug, originates (by switches, exchanges and coin swops) directly from the famous Dutch Zilvervloot. This “Silver fleet” was robbed by Piet Hein a Dutch trader/pirate. To prevent by being robbed again, Stuiver wants to get as soon as possible virtual to a bank. Therefore, put Stuiver on a picture with an ATM.

About This Item

Stuiver

A Stuiver is a former Dutch coin worth 1/20 of a guilder (approximately €0,025) This rate is set in 1521 at the introduction of the Carolus-guilder en the Stuiver by emperor Karl V At the beginning of the 19th century, when the decimal system became valid in the Netherlands, the Stuiver was officially replaced by a coin bearing the print of 5 cent. Common people kept on calling this coin the Stuiver. Nowadays, in places in the Netherlands, the 5 eurocent coin is also called a Stuiver.
Be careful, Stuiver is very small. If you retrieved it from a cache store it on a proper place, like in your wallet.
