To travel from cache to cache, get some miles or visit cancer survivors. Take pics if you can.
Hi! My name is "Cowdeer". There is a story behind my name that I am going to tell you. My owner is a survivor, a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago. She went through the surgery, chemo, and radiation and is doing fine. Even getting her hair back. But about 7 years before that, she was driving to work at about 3:00 A.M. one morning in the rain when she crested a hill and there were cows out of the fence on the road. She hit one of those cows. The cow was fine and so was my owner, but I can't say the same for the car.
About 2 months later, my owner was meeting her oldest son and his family for dinner one evening. When they parked, her son threw a beany baby cow on top of her hood. So about a year later when her son hit a deer, my owner bought me to do the same thing to him. The only problem was, whenever I was around, the son was not driving the car he hit the deer with. So that is how I became a survivor also.
My owner would like for me to reach as many cancer survivors as possible, and she would like to hear their story, also. So would you carry me as far as you can so I can meet these people and hear their stories to tell anyone going through the same thing that there is hope and to never give up. Have faith.
I will be walking with my owner in the "Relay for Life" in our town, then I am going on my journey. So be good to me and help me travel to tell our story.

This is the first trip for Cowdeer (the Moose) in Europe – Germany. Cowdeer selected an excellent home for this/her first stop. And he/she was less than an hour in the cache-box. I send you an picture of Germany. The new temporary owner lives weekends in the black forest and works at lake Constance.

Found Cowdeer on a trip to Atlanta, and will bring it to Europe to continue on its mission. Attached are some pictures upon save arrival in a little village in southwestern Germany.
